The Springfield Clinic is open weekdays from 8:00am until 5:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am until 12:00pm (noon).

Springfield Medical Center - Mayo Health System (SMC-MHS) is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health for 24 beds and 6 bassinets, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

The medical center is a full service primary care hospital, including surgical and obstetrics services, and is organizationally integrated with one general surgeon and a five-physician family practice clinic. Every physician is board certified by their respective accrediting specialty organization, and all five local physicians include obstetrics in their practice of medicine.

A variety of visiting specialists make visits to the medical center on a predetermined schedule, providing quality care close to home. SMC-MHS also has a satellite clinic in the City of Lamberton, open every weekday with a rotating member of the Springfield medical staff.
