Springfield Area Historical Society
SAHS was established to discover, preserve, and disseminate historical knowledge about Springfield. The museum is located on Central Street and is collecting artifacts and information. Family and corporate memberships, at $10 and $25 respectively, provide annual support.

 

The Springfield Museum has set it's summer hours-Wednesday and Friday Afternoon from 2:00-4:00 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be expanded hours during Riverside Days. Springfield Rotary
Service Above Self - Primary function is to promote education and do fund raising for local, national and international projects. Meet every Tuesday at 12:10 p.m. at Ruby's Cafe at 11 S. Marshall Avenue. Contact Deb Beyer at 507-723-6612 or debbeyer@springfield-sanborn.net.

 

Springfield Girl Scouts
Focus - To give girls ages kindergarten through 12th grade opportunities to develop self-esteem, self-reliance, and leadership and teamwork skills in a fun and safe environment. Springfield has troops for each age level. Contact Linda Carruthers - Service Manager 507-723-4721.

 

Springfield Boy Scouts
Focus - Developing character and maturity by learning to work together, camp together and play. Meet - 2nd & 4th Monday each month at 7 pm above the Police Station. Contact - 507-723-5972.

 

Springfield Cub Scouts

Focus - Community Service. Support programs for vision and hearing impaired including care restoration. American Legion John Watson Post 257
Focus - Donations to local projects and student scholarships. Third Saturday of every month is a steak fry 5:30pm to 9pm. Meet - Third Wednesday of each month at 8pm. Contact - Manager after 4 p.m. 507-723-9944.

 

Sons of the American Legion John Watson Post 257

American Legion Auxiliary John Watson Post 257

Brookville Livewires 4-H Club
4-H is a youth program that is an informal, practical, learning-by-doing educational program that encourages families to learn together and interact with their community. Burnstown Bustlers 4-H Club
Our purpose of our club is to help youth and their families learn new skills, have fun, make friends and make a difference in the community. Our goal is to have each 4-H project be a family activity and to have parent involvement in the club. Meet - 2nd Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Springfield Community Center. Springfield Area Health Care Foundation
SAHCF provides an easy vehicle for supporting our health care facilities and providers through education, making alternative options available for donors, providing monetary support for the local health care system, and providing an avenue for input by area residents. Memorials, bequests from wills, annual fundraising campaigns and a charity golf event are means used to raise funds. St. John Lutheran Home Foundation
The purpose is to receive and administer the endowment fund, to solicit, and preserve income not generated by service provision, to allow continued discretionary use of this income to assure continuing care of those we serve, and to provide educational opportunities for people in the service area.
